The Artist's Way: Recovering a Sense of Possibility

Two of our six ladies could not make it last night, but the rest of us carried on, discussing and sharing about the always fabulous word and topic: possibilities. Our creative activity for the evening was blind contour drawing, sometimes referred to as Zen drawing. In essence, you look at an object and draw it using only uninterrupted lines and without looking at your paper to see what you have drawn. We practiced drawing several objects (including a self-portrait), then moved on to drawing each other. Believe me, there was lots of laughter during all of these exercises.

Sinatra, coined the "alley cat" by Gretchin of Scarlet Star Studios, appears to be everywhere overseeing our evening activities.

That looks so fun! I always think I should start a group but seem to always have too many other things going on and like to go to bed early. :)
