Travel Post #8: Kusadasi and Ephesus, Turkey
We travelled back to Turkey, this time to the port city of Kusadasi, and arrived in the wee hours of the morning. At a respectable hour, we boarded a bus for the 40-minute ride to Ephesus, a beautiful reconstructed ancient site.
After our morning visit to Ephesus, we headed into Kusadasi. A delight to the senses. (Howard says Turkish coffee is strong and Greek ice cream is stringy and chewy, in case you were curious.)
Back to the boat for a beautiful sunset and a last wave to Turkey.
