We returned to Venice on October 17th and had another opportunity to explore. We headed into the city around 9:30 and spent the next ten hours roaming the narrow streets. We not only got lost (multiple times), but we also visited the Gallerie dell' Accademia di Venezia and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection.
The Peggy Guggenheim Collection, on the Grand Canal, was a refreshing blast of modern and abstract art.
At the end of the day, we hopped on the People Mover, a train that took us back to the ship.
