Paper Remnant Journals

A few weeks ago, I spent three days at the Portland Art Collective spring retreat. While I was there, I madly worked at preparing pages for a journal idea I had to make what I've now dubbed Paper Remnant Journals. Last week I completed my first two of these journals (which I plan to sell at the Portland Art Collective annual Open Doors sale in December). The journals are designed so that you can write on the pages, glue in photos, or insert ephemera into little pockets and envelopes.

Assembling the pages:

Some of the backs I'm using.

A glimpse inside the journals:

I'm so excited about the finished journals!

So great to see the finished product after watching you work so hard on prepping all the pages. There are really wonderful!

Yes, Bobbie, the sale is open to everyone! And there will be at least a couple dozen artists from the Portland Art Collective selling their handmade goodness!
