On Friday, we jumped on a little puddle jumper for the one-hour flight to the second part of our vacation: Kauai, known as the Garden Island. As in my first vacation post, I'm not feeling like doing a lot of typing. I will just say there are a lot of wild chickens that roam the island, and if you've never been in a tropical storm that drops 15 inches of rain in one day, well, you haven't gotten as wet as we did yesterday! The cool tee-shirt is Howard's (hemp, no less) and yes, it has flaming hearts (my heart is pitter patting). So here's a glimpse of our first couple days on Kauai (and the last two photos are of the flooding that occurred on the island):
