Curious Elements: Helter Skelter

It's been a productive week at the studio working on my line of Curious Elements. It's a crazy process in that things need to dry between stages so I find myself working in batches: A batch of wood boards being prepped. A batch of wood boards getting texture. A batch of wood boards getting sanded. A batch of wood boards getting stained. And on it goes until I get to the fun part of auditioning the elements that will eventually be attached.

It had been such a week of whirlwind activity, that I spent all day Thursday cleaning, tidying, and organizing the studio. It is amazing how quickly it can become chaotic and I don't work well when the piles take over. I'm now ready to work at different stations, depending on the stage I feel like working on.

A fresh batch of cut wood ready to be sanded. Oh dear.
