For our Father's Day gift, my sister and I decided it would be fun to take our Dad to the Portland Art Museum's current exhibit, The Allure of the Automobile. So today, my sister and brother-in-law drove our Dad up from Salem where they met up with me, Howard, and Howard's father. What an awesome exhibit it was! All of us enjoyed the cars, but the Dad's especially had a good time.
This one was my Dad's favorite (a Bugatti). He has good taste!

After the rest of my family headed home (and after lunch), Howard and I returned to the museum to see some of the other exhibits. Here are some of my favorite pieces of art:

Ahh...there was a time when they really knew how to put a car together! It's such a shame that art is lost...
