i liked the glass, the rocks, the shells, the litter/trash, and oh yeah the glass. the boots are good. sculpture gardens. morning view. abandoned buildings. flea market finds. but best of all...knowing the folks who took the trip.

the cinque terra made it Darren and my top ten, too - Darren still compares every pizza we get to one he got there - complete with fresh pineapple. :) Thanks so much for sharing all of this with us!! (even though I am about a week behind now on your blog . . .)

i also loved pompeii (have wanted to visit there since i was in 2nd grade, so went vicariously with you!), the chianti gardens, and would have loved the bike riding. but so many beautiful places that you so generously shared with us. i feel as if i've gone myself and if i don't get there i can live happily knowing i am more in touch with the italy you visited. bless you, dayna! vicki

Thanks for your visit to my blog - I did enjoy tagging along with you and had the same sentiment as you - we can't see everything (as much as we wanted to)! It makes for something to look forward to on the next trip, doesn't it?
