Second Chance - The Motherlode

Discovered a fabulous secondhand/thrift/vintage/collectibles/antique store in Omaha, Nebraska: Second Chance. It is located in the heart of Omaha's wonderful Old Market area of town. There is really no need for words, so I'll just post a series of photos . . . .

And then there was a BASEMENT!

It's worth a stop in Omaha to visit this remarkable shop.

PS And I didn't spend all that much for all my wonderful finds.

You must have been like a kid in a candy store.

oh wow! it reminds of the places i visited in buenos aires, where i just wanted to wiggle my nose samantha style and move it closer to here so i could go again and again. how fun, can't wait to see all you've collected!

Dayna, you definitely have a TALENT for finding these places with the most fascinating stuff in them.

You know what they say about one person's trash . . .

Perhaps you should become a tour guide (in all that spare time). There are garden experts who take people through amazing gardens: you could be the Empress of Emporiums, the Tzarina of Trash, The Sovereign of Stuff.

Or the Regent of Recycling!

howard, encouraging dayna to have her own space was a great idea. but if you continue to support these junk hunts, you'll soon need to contract an architect, rent space in an industrial park and hire a docent......
