Day 5: Tick Tick Tick

Sunday, June 3rd, was our final day and I really felt the pressure of time. We only had the morning because we went for brunch as a group to the campus restaurant, Hands On Cafe. After eating, we started to clean up so that we would be ready for critiques at 2:00. I had finished my seven little boards, so I worked on my remaining three big canvases, but the ticking clock wasn't working for me, so I just putzed with paint, did some bundling, and then cleand up.

Meanwhile, what else was going on . . . . pondering, bundling, painting, sanding, a visit from Stacey, waxing, and finally critiquing.

It was a good week. A very good week. Thank you, Stephanie, for once again being my muse, my critic, my cheerleader, and table mate.

I answered at the end...like it was one big post, guess I was one of the dissenters! You captured it well in your titles, from anticipation to tick tick tick, the week went too too fast, I was just finding my stokes. My biggest lesson is to not wait a year to really paint. Right back at you for being my cheerleader, muse etc etc, but I missed you having some real pom poms!

I will leave one at the beginning and one at the end....because once you read the first...you will end up here or.......I really love seeing your boards and what you did with them. I know for sure that once I see them in person they will be breathtakingingly soulful. Thanks for sharing your week with me :)
