It was time to get going on the next phase of my Studio Fence Project: Adding doors to hide an ugly Cyclone fence (and the dog run behind it). Howard and I hopped in the car last Friday (with our trailer attached) and headed to Portland to round up some vintage doors. First stop was Habitat for Humanity in SE Portland. Score!
Lunch at Laughing Planet, a favorite and just down the street from our next stop.
Second stop: Rebuilding Center on N. Mississippi in Portland. A treasure of doors (not to mention toilets, and sinks, and windows, and electrical, and plumbing, and special finds too numerous to mention).
Safely delivered to the studio.
